Beware of scam ‘FCA’ due diligence email 

The Association of Professional Compliance Consultants has alerted members to a suspected scam email purporting to come from the FCA.

Due to its content, this email appears very unlikely to have been sent by the regulator, and is in all probability a scam.

Do not be tempted to click on the links contained in the email or respond in any way.

The email reads as follows: 

YOUR DUE DILIGENCE REQUEST IS NOW DUE
DUE DATE: 03 NOVEMBER 2020
FOR: [deleted]
REFRENCE NUMBER: [deleted]

In regards to the recent FCA directives with effect from 03 November 2020, you are required to complete the below compliance questionnaires.

What you need to do:
We require your reviews and answers the relevant questions and return no later than the 15 of November 2020.
