CII-Accredited Workshops and Webinars

We are delighted to run the first general insurance compliance workshops in the UK that were accredited by our industry’s professional body, the Chartered Insurance Institute.  This accreditation, which is renewed annually, is welcome independent testament to the quality of our events, and ensures the workshops count towards a CII member’s requirement for Continuing Professional Development.

Workshops

Face-to-face workshops are run twice a year, usually in Spring and Autumn, at venues across the UK.  The workshops typically have three main sessions, lead by an appropriate expert from the UKGI team.  The first two sessions relate to regulatory hot topics or recurring issues picked up by our helpline and consultancy teams, so delegates can be reassured that the subject matter is current and relevant to their needs.  The final session is a regulatory round up, reviewing the period since the last workshops and looking forward to see what is on the regulatory horizon for the next six to 12 months.

The workshops last all morning, with ample time built in beforehand, during breaks and over lunch afterwards, for delegates to network and discuss issues with their peers.  Members of our helpline and consultancy teams are of course also on hand at our workshops should delegates have specific questions or topics they wish to discuss.

Webinars

The Covid-19 lockdown in Spring 2020 meant that our workshops, which are also Chartered Insurance Institute-accredited, were run as webinars rather than face-to-face events.  The webinars went well and whilst we missed the human interaction, the webinars did allow us to effectively deliver the workshop content and also answer questions from delegates.  Having proven the webinar approach, we now offer a blended range of face-to-face workshops and webinars, so our clients can choose how they wish to access these valuable events.

Part of your consultancy package or pay-as-you-go

As part of the flexible range of services we provide, you can choose to include a pre-set number of delegate places each year at a discounted rate, or to book places on an ad hoc basis.

We notify our clients by email when we have workshops or webinars coming up, and also they can see the upcoming events and book places by visiting our Events page.
