Whilst some of our clients utilise resources such as our Compliance Manual and regular updates to run an effective regulatory regime, there are inevitably times when further support is required with specific issues or concerns. We therefore provide bespoke regulatory information and advice through our technical helpline, which is available by email or telephone during office hours.
Advice, guidance and support from a highly experienced team
Our helpline is well-resourced by highly experienced staff, many of whom have been with UKGI for several years. It is not a call-centre. When they need us, our clients can be certain they are dealing with an expert who will provide proactive support, regardless of how complex or simple the enquiry may be. We always attempt to resolve issues within the call but occasionally will refer the matter within the team to ensure we deliver the optimum response for our clients.
The team are there to provide advice, guidance, support and sometimes just a friendly ear to clients when they have questions specific to their business or they need help with an issue. This can be one particular occasion where the trusted relationships we have established with our clients are so important, because they need to know that whatever they tell us will be handled in a confidential and sensitive manner. Over the years our team have built excellent knowledge of, and relationships with, many of our clients.
Our technical helpline team also provide our financial promotions and document review service. This can range from reviewing a transactional website or commenting on an advertisement, through to reviewing a firm’s entire suite of compliance policies or just a one off document.
