As members of trade body the Association of Professional Compliance Consultants (APCC), UKGI has been offered a unique opportunity to provide access for our clients to an upcoming series of online Show and Tell sessions the FCA is running to support firms with submitting their Directory Persons data.
As you will be aware, solo-regulated firms need to have submitted their Directory Persons data for inclusion in the Directory of certified and assessed persons by 31 March, using the FCA’s Connect user management system.
An earlier deadline of 18 March applies to firms wishing to submit data using the multiple add or amend form. The regulator began publishing data submitted by solo-regulated firms last month.
To help firms who may be unsure about how to submit data, the FCA is running a series of four one-hour Show and Tell sessions via Microsoft Teams during January and February.
These are aimed at solo-regulated firms themselves and the Trade Associations who represent them. The 50 available places on each are being allocated, via trade associations, on a first-come first-served basis.
Each session will provide background on the Directory Persons programme and firms’ responsibilities, provide an overview of the firm journey, and demonstrate how to make both single and multiple submissions. There will also be a Q&A session at the end.
The dates and times currently assigned for the Show and Tell sessions are as follows (with applications to participate due a week in advance):
- Tuesday 19 January at 3pm
- Wednesday 27 January at 2pm
- Tuesday 9 February at 10am
- Thursday 25 February at 11am
