The FCA has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) setting out a framework intended to support working arrangements between the two bodies.
The document is designed to help the FCA and EHRC meet their obligations under the Equality Act 2010, effectively and transparently, for the better protection of people in financial services markets.
It envisages work undertaken by the two organisations covering common ground and addressing similar issues. This Memorandum reflects their current working relationship and aims to promote ongoing liaison and co-operation.
