FCA issues guidance to GI firms on FSCS fee tariff data submissions

The FCA is once again asking firms for the information it needs to calculate levies for the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

The regulator has issued a guidance document on the data firms need to include in their fee tariff data submissions.

This applies to firms allocated to FSCS class 1 category 1 – General insurance distribution (CLGID-1), which replaced FCSC class SB02 – general insurance intermediation with the introduction of new funding classes and categories in April 2019.

The guidance includes links to the relevant parts of the FCA Handbook to help firms complete the form.
