FCA retires its current invoicing and fees portal this month

It’s important to be aware that the current FCA invoicing portal (which allows users to access their invoices and pay fees) is being retired at the end of March, with its replacement not due to come on stream until 12 April.

In its announcement on this topic, the FCA says the change is part of its wider data strategy and its efforts to upgrade its internal finance systems in line with new technology now in use by regulated firms.

Once it’s launched, the new portal will be accessible using your Connect log in details. Those not already registered with Connect will be set up with an account so they can access the new invoicing portal.

You will not be able to to view or download invoices paid before 31 March 2021 via the new portal. So the FCA is encouraging firms to download older invoices before the current portal goes offline on 31 March.
