FCA launches its new ‘My FCA’ portal

My FCA will provide firms with a single point of sign in, using existing FCA user details, for Connect, RegData and their page on the Register. Once signed in, firms will be able to see all their regulatory reporting and attestation tasks, and their status, in one place. This will make it easier to see all the information relating to their regulatory activities and to fulfil their regulatory responsibilities. Firms, therefore, will be able to sign in once to see their RegData and Connect scheduled tasks in one place.

  • Connect, RegData and Online Invoicing System users who have registered for multi-factor authentication will be able to sign in to My FCA using their existing details.
  • Firms will still be able to access RegData, Connect and Online Invoicing System via their bookmarks or the website links. It will not be mandatory to sign in via My FCA at the time of launch.
  • The FCA will let firms know when My FCA is available to use via its Regulation Round-up publication, and on the FCA website. After launch, the FCA will encourage firms to start using My FCA to complete their scheduled tasks.
  • The FCA will add more functionality and features over time and gather feedback from firms on their experience after launch.

How My FCA works

  • Firms will see their RegData and Connect scheduled tasks in one place with a due date and status for the systems they have access to.
  • Firms will be able to navigate from within My FCA to other FCA systems without needing to sign in again.
  • There will be no changes to firms’ reporting and attestation deadlines as a result of My FCA. Firms will still receive reminder e-mails from RegData, Connect and Online Invoicing System.
  • User management will stay in each system. Any access requests for RegData and Connect should be sent to the Principal User. For the Online Invoicing System, firms need their unique validation code.

What firms can do in My FCA

Firms will be able to:

  • View regulatory returns they need to submit in RegData.
  • See the attestations they need to complete in Connect.
  • Access RegData, Connect, and Online Invoicing System.
  • Read system notices and regulatory updates including Regulation Round-up in one place.
  • Look up rules and guidance in the FCA Handbook.
  • Check a firm on the Financial Services Register.
  • Work out their annual fees using the FCA’s Fees Calculator.

The FCA will add more functionality and features over time and gather feedback from firms on their experience after launch.
