In its Regulation Roundup published on 15th July 2021, the FCA has reminded firms that from 6th August 2021 it will begin deleting any draft applications within the Connect system which have not been modified for 120 days (so draft applications not modified in any way since 8th April 2021).
If firms no longer want to proceed with the applications, they don’t need to do anything. It’s worth checking Connect though to find out if there are any applications that require attention. If your firm has any draft applications that were started before 8th April and which have not had any changes or modifications made since then, and which you still wish to submit, you should log into the Connect system and progress the application before the 6th August.
